With BlackBerry 10, App World is adding some much needed variety to the types of content users have access to, including music, movies and television shows. BlackBerry execs say that users will be able to download this content directly to their devices rather than stream it from the web. Content providers haven't been announced yet, so we don't know which studios or record labels will make their content available through BlackBerry App World. RIM was also mum on pricing for the new content, although we expect it to be in line with what Apple and Google charge for their content.

From what was show, the app is essentially a clone of what you get on Android or iOS.

That said, interactions should improved thanks to RIM's Flow interface. The app also appeared to run very fast during the demo, although we don't know if it was running natively on the Developer Kit that was being used or it it was actually connected to the web.
